Conference Program

The conference program will combine scientific sessions with field trips to forests around Edmonton, including visits to nurseries and long-term forest management experiments that showcase Alberta's approach to sustainable stewardship.

Sessions themselves will draw on proposals from across IUFRO's research groups and working parties, with a strong focus on forest health alongside multidisciplinary discussions connecting forest health to broader ecological, social, management, and policy challenges.

With participation welcomed from across IUFRO's Divisions, the program is designed to spark cross-disciplinary collaboration, pairing hands-on field experience with global scientific exchange.
